1.9.2win long rip times

Post by boxerjake » Tue Apr 21, 2015 3:25 pm

Upgraded to 1.9.2 yesterday and noticed a huge difference in ripping times .

Outcast took 7 hours 52 mins , way beyond any previous rip time with prior versions .

Anyone else seeing this ? if not maybe i'll try re-installing and see if it speeds up any .

I am not seeing significant differences in rip times between 1.9.1 and 1.9.2, but I have only done a dozen or so rips with the new version (slow week for anime releases).

Ok .... Must just be on my end then , i'll try reloading the program and see if the problem presists or subsides .

I have , Heaven is for real , Into the woods , Jack Ryan and The imitation Game yet to rip so we'll see how they do compared to Outcast .

For what it is worth, there are SOME BDs that rip VERY slowly, in whatever drive they're put in. One of the machines I have 1.9.2 on has two drives, and I had one job a couple of days ago that rarely got over 2x speed, but another on the same machine was pushing 10x. I'm not sure how much of that difference was the drives themselves - both are LGs, but the slower is from 2010 (UH10LS20), and the faster from 2013 (BH16NS40).
