[Bug] MakeMKV can't open MKV File

Hi there,

I ve got a MKV File that MakeMKV will not open.

First question is, why would you need MakeMKV to open it? If it's already in MKV form, it doesn't need conversion to MKV...

Are there any plans for showing a message like "don't use makemkv, use mkvtoolnix!" when you r trying to open mkvs with MakeMKV?

Nope, it's your fault to use the wrong tool for the job. How do you plan to change stream order once you open it in MakeMKV?

The thing i was just saying i want to change stream order but thats not right. It isnt important what i want to do its just MakeMKV cant open that MKV File.

So can we talk about that topic now and not about anything else?

I also don't thing that the file ist corrupt or something like that. Because i could open it before it was processed by Mkttoolnix.

According to the log, the VC-1 stream is broken (at least from MakeMKV's point of view). Please open the file in mkvmerge, remove all tracks except video and cut about 10 seconds from the start. Then send this 10-second file to support@makemkv.com.

I also tested 2 other files. The problem always occurs after doing a remux with mkvmerge 7.8.0 and VC1 Videostreams.

Bluray => MakeMKV 1.8.4 => MKV => mkvmerge 7.8.0 => MKV => MakeMKV 1.9.2 fails to open.
