SVQ creation?

I don't seem to be able to search the forums for the topic already, so I'll just ask: is there an explanation on the technical aspects of SVQ creation? I have a disk (and a dump created for Mike of course), but I'd like to know a bit more about how to accomplish it as a community!

I have never seen any explanation of what is going on, beyond what is published here: http://www.makemkv.com/svq/

At a guess, Mike analyzes what the BD+ code does that isn't standard, and comes up with a way to work around it.

Bummer. If it is something that can be done amongst the community when a new disc comes out, I'm happy to contribute!

So for now, I have a disc that I can't play...

What is the right way to proceed for now? Can I simply copy the file contents to a folder and be patient?

Yes, we're kind of stuck. But Mike has usually been pretty quick on creating the SVQ files, even though some have taken a couple of weeks recently.
