Thinking about buying, MKV charges VAT if so where do I find the VAT number?

According to the payment page all customers located within the EU are required to pay VAT unless they have a valid VAT ID, in which case they are exempt from VAT. I have a valid VAT ID, how do I purchase and not pay VAT???

Since it is the payment processor that is collecting the VAT, you'll have to ask them.

On the page /buy/ , there is a link to the Avangate FAQ page, which really doesn't say how to enter the VAT number, but does list how to contact customer support.

At a guess, you would enter the VAT number in your account setup, but it has been a couple of years since I did that, and it wasn't applicable to me.
