Hello, I'm trying to transcode Fantastic 4 Rise of the Silver Surfer with MakeMKV.. It was originally transcoded with Anydvd HD..
It starts out ok but about 5mins in I get a message "Fata error occurred, programm will now exit"
I attached the Debug Code if anyone can make anysense out of it? is it a problem with the encryption on the blu-ray?
Thanks for any help/info...

Re: MakeMKV FATAL ERROR when ripping..
Hi!
1) Is this a DVD or a BluRay?
2) What are you trying to accomplish?
3) What do you mean by, "It was originally transcoded by AnyDVDHD?"
4) Why don't you simply use MakeMKV with your original, commercial disc?
Please explain.I'm trying to transcode Fantastic 4 Rise of the Silver Surfer with MakeMKV.. It was originally transcoded with Anydvd HD...

Re: MakeMKV FATAL ERROR when ripping..
It's from an original blu ray disc, I transfer it via my PS3 to my Mac, the end result is an ISO.. I then take the ISO from the PS3 and send it through Anydvd HD, I tried putting it through MakeMKV first but MakeMKV always asks for volume keys.. so I put it through Anydvd HD, which in turn creates another ISO that I can then send through MakeMKV. I take the file that MakeMKV creates and send that through Handbrake, the end result is a movie I can stream via my Apple TVs in the house.. and also have a digital file to watch on my laptop..
I did this same procedure with X-Men 3 and it worked great, but now I'm running into this Fatal Error with Fantastic 4_2.. so I'm at loss..

As I posted in another, very similar thread here, if you intend to be copying BluRay discs on an ongoing basis, it would make your life considerably easier if you were to purchase a BluRay drive for your Mac... [/color]
