Trying to rip the third disc of the Basilisk anime economy box set (viridian edition DVD) was giving me a failure without any error shown. Poked around the forums here and saw to turn on debug logging for more insight, and this is what I was getting..

Rip fails on 3rd disc of Basilisk anime box set (DVD)
Re: Rip fails on 3rd disc of Basilisk anime box set (DVD)
One thing I would try is to step back a version or two on MakeMKV, because it is possible that the error is in one of the libraries used in the current version. This disk should be rippable with 1.8.7, which you can download from:
/download/old/
You can install it in a separate directory from 1.9.0, so both versions would be available.

Re: Rip fails on 3rd disc of Basilisk anime box set (DVD)
Tried your suggestion of 1.87, still no dice. Actually fails quicker on that version (as soon as you start the rip rather than a third through). Thanks anyways though.
Creating a test dump now to send to support, see if theres a way to manually do this.

Got a response from support with a manual string to open the disc with. Worked like a charm!
