I have noticed the past couple movies that I have copied to my Cruzer Stick that the audio won't exactly match up to the conversation going on in the movie. I am only copying the largest GB title to the stick from mkv. Any ideas why I am running into this?
Thanks!
Audio Mismatch
Re: Audio Mismatch
This is usually in the player. Had complaints that one feature was out of sync when viewed across the network on the TV, but it is perfectly synced across the same network to a Windows machine using VLC.
MakeMKV tries very hard to make sure the audio timestamps match the video when ripping, because some disks have gaps between chapters, especially when dealing with "seamless branching" on Blurays.

FWIW, if I am not mistaken, overlaps are more common than gaps (and trickier to handle without re-encoding).Woodstock wrote:MakeMKV tries very hard to make sure the audio timestamps match the video when ripping, because some disks have gaps between chapters, especially when dealing with "seamless branching" on Blurays.
