Video can't be decrypted for Cowboy Bebop Bluray

Post by leevaq » Tue Dec 23, 2014 6:37 pm

This is the one that was released just a couple weeks ago. Bar Code is 04400 09055 if that helps.

Error I receive:
Opening files on harddrive at /Volumes/Cowboy_Bebop_D1
The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted
Failed to open disc

Debug logging (see my signature for how to enable it) should show more information. Typically, that message would be accompanied by the AACS version on the disk, and a link to click on to send the AACS information to Mike.

Funimation disks issued this month just started using AACS v50, so Bebop should be the same. v50 requires MakeMKV 1.9.0.

Have you just copied the bluray to the hard drive with copy and paste and then trying to decrypt with makemkv?
