I cannot open this disc. I get this:
Using direct disc access mode
This disc uses newer version of AACS protection. Please let us know about it by visiting /a/?dnZ2dnZdPB1Ckw...
The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted
Failed to open disc
I've tried two separate computers and tried it with a Redbox rental and two Netflix rentals. All have failed.
I downloaded version 1.9.0 however in "about makemkv" it says that the version is 1.8.14 and the GUI version is 1.9.0
Any help would be appreciated
The Expendables 3 Blu Ray
Re: The Expendables 3 Blu Ray
Clicking on the link that was in the log would have sent the information necessary to "fix" the AACS information to Mike, the author.
However, Expendables 3 BD has been successfully ripped by others, so you must be running a rather old version of MakeMKV. 1.9.0 is current, and it reports itself as 1.9.0 when you install it. If you are seeing 1.8.14 when you run it, you still have the old version installed.

Re: The Expendables 3 Blu Ray
I had the exact same problem with the exact same Blu Ray. I was able to fix it by uninstalling and then re-installing now I'm officially at 1.9.0 in both GUI and Makemkv.

Re: The Expendables 3 Blu Ray
I was able to do it by running AnyDVD in the background. Yeah for some reason I was unable to install the new version. The old version expired and I had to download and now I have the current version. Problem solved though.
