New to makemkv
I have mirror image backup to an external HD(drive F) when I try to copy my Blu Ray concert makemkv keeps trying to copy it to drive F even though I changed the destination to the C drive HELP please
Re: New to makemkv
Is there enough space on drive C to hold the files? Does the user you're running MakeMKV under have permission to write to the location you specify?
Do you have debug logging turned on (link in my signature) so that MakeMKV reports more information about what it is doing and why?

Re: New to makemkv
Yes I have plenty of room on my C drive how do I turn off the F (external)drive and make a copy on the C drive?
Re: New to makemkv
Open the preferences menu (looks like a wrench, or View->Preferences).
What settings do you have under Video?
At the very least, you need to have C: in the Default destination, although you probably want to have it go to a directory on C:.
If you use "SemiAuto" and "C:\makemkv", MakeMKV will attempt to create a directory named for the disk you are ripping within the C:\makemkv directory.

Re: New to makemkv
Well I was able to copy to C drive But I have a question(again lol) Is it normal when you do a Blu Ray copy to hard drive to get 50 to 60 clips and when you try to play them (not burn them(thats another problem))the show each cip in script at bottom of screen while it plays each clip one at a time (not continuous)If this is the case it isn't worth it
Re: New to makemkv
For Bluray, there are two options with MakeMKV - "Backup", which copies the BD structure to the hard drive (optionally decrypting it), and "Open", which will allow you to select which titles (and which tracks within the titles) to copy into individual MKV files.
The "Backup" option preserves playlists and menus within the copy, for programs that understand that. It is ONLY applicable to BDs; DVDs do not have the "Backup" option.
"Open" is the most flexible from the standpoint of getting rid of things you don't want/need (I really don't need French, Spanish, German, and Portuguese audio and subtitles on my media server, for example), but you're going to get things broken up into separate files for each of the "titles" the BD author decided were important... which may be as small as one scene, or an entire movie.
For a concert, that's probably one file for each song, but there SHOULD be a file that contains the whole concert.

Re: New to makemkv
Well I was finally able to make a copy of the concert Blu-ray and play it and BUT some of the songs are out of sync(I guess it's a never ending battle)are there any options I missed that could have caused this?
