non-stop movie - error

Hello,

I just tried makemkv a few days ago and it works pretty fine. The only exception is a relatively new dvd "non-stop".
I hope the given details are sufficient.

When finished, there are several tracks to convert, but non of them work. This is what I get, when trying:

I hope there´s a way to fix this. I really appreciate this great tool.

MEDIUM ERROR:UNRECOVERED READ ERROR

The drive can't read parts of the disk. By itself, MakeMKV can't do anything about that, except tell the drive to try more times (that's in the preferences, under "I/O").

First option is to try cleaning the disk, to make sure there are no finger prints and such causing the problem. I do it with furniture polish, which also waxes the disk; this helps with small scratches you might not see, but can affect how the laser sees the little pits on the disk. For some disks, it is necessary to use a different drive - different drives have different focusing abilities and tolerances for out-of-focus disks. A DVD drive can (usually) read a marginal DVD better than a Bluray drive, due to the wavelength of the laser light.
