Tried ripping PKW with 1.8.x and 1.9.0. Read posts left in 2010 about this issue, but not much there helped me... In the GUI, the initial read takes a comparatively long time... It spins and reads for nearly 12 minutes, then it takes 6 more minutes to generate several error messages:
Error 'Scsi error - HARDWARE ERROR:3EFF' occurred while reading '/VIDEO_TS/VTS_01_1.VOB' at offset '0' <--- I get this 5 times
Then...
Failed to open disc.
At the command line - this is one screen of just over 4 screens just like these lines:

This BD drive is working fine on other discs, and the disc plays on this drive (as well as on other drives)... The disc is clean and scratch-free... Anyone seen anything like this? Suggestions?
