Preferred language malfunction

Use of the 'Preferred language' setting does not work properly.
Its current implementation works more like "Only accepted language", which is in itself unacceptable.

Currently it's impossible to use the "Preferred language" setting to choose subtitles, for cases where there is no audio track using the same language.
Because doing so results in a 'silent movie'.

Usage Example:
I've bought several DVD discs with multiple language subtitles, and i wish to rip these to MKV files with Swedish subtitles only. The natural way of doing this should be to set "Preferred language" to Swedish and let MakeMKV handle the rest. But this results in useless files, since they will have NO audio tracks. (Unless there happens to be an audio track available in Swedish, which is very seldom the case, as only children's movies and shows are 'dubbed' in Sweden.)

The implementation needs to be modified in at least one of three possible ways, but preferably ALL of them:

Alternative 1: Separate settings for Audio and Subtitle languages.
This would allow me to set NONE or English for preferred audio, while using Swedish for preferred subtitle language.
But it is not ideal, as I often want two tracks of either kind. (While filtering out other languages than those two.)

Alternative 2: Support more than one preferred language
This can easily be done by changing the current single-language entry in the registry to a comma-separated list string.
That would allow me to set a number of languages, such that MakeMKV preserves all tracks in all those languages when ripping.
But it is still not ideal, as I might rip a disc without an audio track for any of the preferred languages.

Alternative 3: Automatic fallback to existing default track, in case of no audio track match for preferred language
This would allow me to specify English or Swedish as my preferred language (so as to get those subtitles), but still fall back to Chinese or other non-preferred audio, for a disc which has no preferred language audio track.

Combining all three of these methods should give maximum flexibility.

Thanks for the response, but I'm not sure of how you mean that.
In what GUI dialog can I add such strings ?

Also, is it possible to use such "+sel" commands for more than one audio language and/or more than one subtitle language ?

eg: In my extended family we have varying language needs, so for a typical US movie, the usage would be as follows

Grownups: English audio, possibly with English subtitles
Youths: English audio, with English or Swedish subtitles
Kids: Swedish audio (if available), possibly with Swedish subtitles (to practice reading)

Currently I have no way for MakeMKV to preserve these tracks and filter out others, except by setting the choices manually for each and every file to be ripped from a disc. Having done this several hundred times already, I'm getting a little bored with that method. (Hence why I posted this thread.)
