Migration to QT5?
Migration to QT5?
Do you have plans to migrate MakeMKV to QT5? With the new KDE and LXQT based on QT5, QT4 seems on its way out.

Maybe the developers are using QT4 for backwards compatibility with older versions of linux and for people that don't use KDE.

I don't use KDE either, I just don't want my system to be cluttered with all forms of outdated libs. If I have to install additional libs, I'd rather have one which is up-to-date.l33tlinuxh4x0r wrote:Maybe the developers are using QT4 for backwards compatibility with older versions of linux and for people that don't use KDE.

Any news?
But I think, this isn't only Linux relevant. This is a "global" (Win, MacOSX and Linux) question, because I think, all versions working with Qt4??! And for the future, I think it's better to migrate to Qt5.
