Hi,
I want to create a docker image which has MakeMKV preinstalled.
Is it allowed ?
If not: can I create a docker image with MakeMKV preinstalled which only will run if user accepts your license at first start ?
Thanks in advance,

Re: Creating a docker image with preinstalled MakeMKV: allow
Will you be buying licenses for each install?
Do you realise old copies of MakeMKV without a valid key will disable themselves?
It could only work if:
1: you bought a key for each 'user'
2: you automatically downloaded the latest version and installed that rather than including it on the disc
As far as I'm aware...

Technically, yes.zwiebelchen wrote:Hi,

This is the right way to do it, but EULA allows you to bypass license confirmation step. You still have to include the license though.zwiebelchen wrote: If not: can I create a docker image with MakeMKV preinstalled which only will run if user accepts your license at first start ?
However, as mentioned before, MakeMKV becomes obsolete very quickly - protections evolve, plus MakeMKV itself expires in 60 days if not registered. I can't think of any scenario when having a re-packaged binary distribution of MakeMKV would have any benefits.zwiebelchen wrote: Thanks in advance, zwiebelchen

I don't think the developer of this program would come here of his own volition and say he has this permission if it was not granted. Let have a yes or no.
