Ripping Still Galleries from Blu's?
Ripping Still Galleries from Blu's?
Is there anyway to rip still galleries (poster/behind the scenes/storyboards) from blu-rays using makemkv or any other program? Thanks
Re: Ripping Still Galleries from Blu's?
I have a number of MKVs of "stills" galleries. They key is that they are often short, time-wise, so you have to set your minimum time very low.
Actually PLAYING THEM BACK can be a problem, though... VLC usually displays the whole thing at 30 frames per second.

Interesting. I do set the minimum time to 0 and have gotten titles that vlc wouldnt play. I assumed they were empty but perhaps they are not. I too sometimes get still galleries in mkv form but in most cases they are left behind.
Re: Ripping Still Galleries from Blu's?
MKVs with audio and black video is one symptom that I've seen. The other are 7 minute MKVs that flash by when played.
It hasn't been important to me to figure out how to play them; I'll just dig out the BD and dust off my BD player if I decide I need to look at them.
