The error message given looks like a disk issue - the request was legal until it reached a large offset into one of the files being read, then it was illegal. If there was an issue with the AACS key, it would normally show up very early in the run. And, once the drive decided it was having a problem, MakeMKV could not do much about it.

Standard advice for disk issues is to start with cleaning it.

After that, make sure you have debugging turned on, and post the log generated, not just the part with the error.

This is a disc effectivment erreure. On a Bluray player stops playing at 15:51 and resumed at 16:15 minutes.

Hmmm, more than 5 months later looks like this is still an unresolved problem.

I have tried twice with two brand new Blu Ray discs of Hansel & Gretel Unrated version and I get the exact same error. 4 attempts same error, highly unlikely it is a bad disc or dirty one. Both were clean, they play fine Makemkv fails to work on this one.

The source file '/BDMV/STREAM/00800.m2ts' is corrupt or invalid at offset [multiple lines of same error with different #]

RandyB, are you using the same version of MakeMKV as the original poster? Are the errors you are receiving the same as the OP?

If not, a debug log would be appropriate to add to your message.
