Can't get a new version to work

Hey folks,

Today I got the "This Application version is too old..." message, so downloaded the latest version for Windows, but it still comes back with the same error. Anyone else getting this issue?

"This Application version is too old" message I think should be replaced with something that would say we need to purchase or beta has expired or expiring soon?
