DVD error SCSI all movies

#1 Post by PSLover14 » Sat Jul 27, 2013 4:07 am

When attempting to rip a DVD on my Windows XP pc, This error comes up 4 times:
Error 'Scsi error - ILLEGAL REQUEST:INVALID FIELD IN CDB' occurred while issuing SCSI command A40..03F to device 'SPTI:\Device\CdRom0

And then it uses direct disc access mode.

Whats going on?
And with Transformers 3, it comes up with:
Cells 41-end were skipped due to cell commands (structure protection?)
over and over.
Eventually it loads, but it is annoying as TRON Legacy rips perfectly if I set it to HardDrive Mode.

That is an error that is hardware dependent. My XP system with IDE optical drives generates this error for both drives. It doesn't impact performance of MakeMKV and can be ignored in my experience.
