LOST Season 5 and 6 DVDs not decoding

Hi Guys,

As per FAQ on this subject here are the .IFO files and the debug file as well as a gif of the DVD directory. There are only 4 episodes on the disc. If you Need any more Infos let me know.

Since none of your files were visible to us normal users, what version of MakeMKV were you trying this with?

I am using Version v1.8.10 (winx64 release).

I also tried 3 different drives: 2 Samsung SE-208DB DVD and an LG BE14NU40 BD drive.

Interestingly, I can rip season 6 discs (actually I am just ripping disc one now). Initially as MKV was scanning the disc the same errors were issued as with the season 5 discs... but its ripping! Now on disc 2.

MakeMKV v1.8.10 win(x64-release) started

I don't think Mike has installed the mod that does the scrolling code/quote boxes; this is a pretty stock version of phpBB.

Mike will have to translate what the specific debug messages mean. They tell what work-arounds MakeMKV tried in an effort to get valid data.

One suggestion would be to try an older version of MakeMKV. There have been some bugs in the last few versions that break different things, and 1.8.10 has problems with a few DVDs. I have 3 different versions installed - 1.8.7, 1.8.9, and 1.8.10 - to cover all the bases on BD and DVD. You can have more than one version installed, so long as they're in different directories.
