I use MakeMKV compiled without the GUI on my headless server. I want to use a different default conversion profile in order to add AC3 stereo tracks.
I've looked at the settings.conf on my Mac and added the line " app_DefaultProfileName = "AC3" " to te settings.conf file on my headless server; where AC3 is the name stated in the profile.
I know the profile works as if I pass the --profile= argument the conversion works and adds the AC3 tracks. However if I don't state the specific profile makemkvcon seems to ignore the app_DefaultProfileName in settings.conf and just use's the default profile.
Could you please confirm app_DefaultProfileName works with makemkvcon? Or maybe I need to compile it with the GUI?!
