MakeMKV quit unexpectedly

MakeMKV 1.8.10
OSX 10.9 Mavericks
MacBook Retina (newest model)

When trying to launch MakeMKV I always just get "MakeMKV quit unexpectedly" the application never launches. Looking for any ideas. I have used an older version in the past (same external cd-rom/ monitor/ etc. ) Only thing different now is the laptop itself, and of course that this is a newer version of MakeMKV)

@Smithwess Correct MakeMKV has never launched on this Mac

Weird, I wanted to go ahead and try something else, so i downloaded DVDFab. While DVDFab is running MakeMKV launches.

@jwscuba Скажу больше, версия 1.8.10 для Windows прекрасно работает на iMac в среде виртуализации Parallels

I had to switch back to last perfectly working release 10.8.8. second time this week.

@Smithwess: It's not so funny. I paid for this app. I would expect to work properly for my money...

Same here. Paid customer, Mac OS 10.9.2 Mavericks, The new version 1.8.10 has never launched. It always crashes. Now I have to try and find download link for the old version until this is fixed.

1.8.10: no joy. And I replaced my working copy of 1.8.9. And I have a bunch of DVDs to rip. What the???? Please help, or at least let me get the installer for 1.8.9.::: just found that in vaadkins' post... THANKS vaadkins!

Same here. MakeMKV 1.8.10, Mac OS X 10.8.5 on an iMac 14,2. Version 1.8.9 works fine. I have the crash log for 1.8.10 if needed.

I am also having the same issue. I have to use an older version now because MakeMKV just crashes. Thank you @vaadkins for the download link for older versions. People have already been posting their crash logs so I don't see the need to. If its needed just let me know.
