Hi!

Just to let you know I had no problems using MakeMKV to do a full disc backup of "The Social Network".

1) What version of MakeMKV did you initially use when trying to backup your original, commercial Blu-ray disc?

2) Did you try cleaning your original disc and then re-try using MakerMKV to make the backup?

3) The DVDFab group of programs all have the reputation of skipping over errors in order to complete a rip. Have you played the "successful" rip to make sure it doesn't exhibit any problems?

Maybe Mike5215 has a non Region A disc....

Haven't yet. Spot checked only. I don't typically use DVD Fab for BR, but I did use it for several hundred DVD rips with no problems.

Watched the full MKV (derived from the DVDFab decrypted file) last night, no errors.

Unless this is a typo ("1.55"), your problem is due to using a VERY outdated version of MakeMKV (April 2010)

Hi. I have a Two-Disc Collector's Edition. In the first disc, among 7 titles (min length 10 sec), the first one (MPEG2, LPCM Stereo, 00099.mpls, 7:05, 1.1 GB) cannot be ripped. Following are debug messages:

You should update to 1.8.9, which fixes the "LIBMKV_TRACE: Specified conversion filter (68:A_PCM/INT/LIT->LPCMraw) is not available" error.
