Doing something wrong?
Very new to this. I converted a few Blu Ray's but now i can t seem to get it to work. 0 titles saved. Tried to different movies Cars and Brave.
Working on a Mac 10.8.4
Make MVK version 1.8.8. Its the free version at the moment.
Converted about 5 movies and was thinking of buying this soon, then it seemed to not work. Any help would be great.
thanks.

Need more information. See the FAQ in my signature for how to turn on Debug Logging, which will show more information.
One possibility is that you are encountering the bug in 1.8.8 involving converting some audio (see message on LPM audio at top of the General board), but the debug log will confirm or refute that.

Those debug codes will tell Mike what is going on. They signal specific work-arounds for weirdness on the disk.

Are you using an USB drive?

Yes.
ASUS - BW-12D1S-U SuperSpeed USB 3.0

Re: Doing something wrong?
I think Mike is asking because of:
If you are plugged into a USB 3.0 port, it SHOULD be getting enough power; plugged into USB 2.0, though, you will probably need to pull power from 2 ports for full-speed operation.
That's an error that usually happens when the USB drive goes off-line due to a lack of power to spin at the speeds MakeMKV can read it at. There may be just enough to run at 1x or 2x read speeds, but faster speeds fail.Error 'OS error - (ipc/send) invalid destination port' occurred while reading '/BDMV/STREAM/00038.m2ts' at offset '0'

I'm plugged into a USB 3.0.
Any more info on what it may be? Not sure what to do at this point.

Re: Doing something wrong?
USB 3 on the computer, or a hub? Depending upon the number of devices plugged in, power can "run out". I first encountered this when a friend's external drives would go off-line as soon as his printer fired up, even though the printer wasn't USB-powered. It took just enough current from the hub, though, to take everything else off-line.
I have seen mention of other causes for this error, but nothing definite. The clue in a lot of cases was that the error did not occur until the drive sped up beyond a certain speed. But I don't think Mike has any capability built into MakeMKV to limit how fast it spins the disk.

Re: Doing something wrong?
Woodstock, thanks for taking the time to reply.
The drive is plugged directly to the computer. Not hub. I also tried to unplug everything connected to the computer and it still didn't work.
Like I said before I have had luck ripping other BR's but it seems that any Disney movies just don't seem to work. Seems strange to me.
