Hello
I tried ripping a blu ray on my mac. It made a 25GB file. But it was not working properly. So I trashed it and emptied the trash can. However my hard drive still says it's at 619GB available. But it should be almost 650. So I tried it again. I deleted it and now it's saying I'm under 600GB available. And I have nothing to show for it. I have searched my computer endlessly for an additional files but can't find any. Is there anyway to get these files deleted correctly so I'm not losing soooo much hard drive space?
Please please help!

The storage will be free when you empty the trash

Maybe try something like OmniDriveSweeper.
Or put something in the trash and press the option key while emptying the trash to force it to delete the stuff in there.
