By "two step" I means to te "preview" step that MKV do to serch for titles and that... this firs steps can take up to 10 minutes!!!... and only AFTER that you can choose what and where to save... but yo have to WAIT THAT TIME!!!
There would be good an option to do the two steps in one single step, then yo can "put to rip" and get away (that option could be saving all titles by defult)
why "two steps" ripping??
Re: why "two steps" ripping??
Blu rays can be up to 50gb, more when you realise they can reuse segments to produce multiple cuts. Even DVDs can have multiple cuts and masses of special features that need to be ripped individually. Making MKV's is different to simply making a copy of a disc, the output could be far larger than the original disc. If you're proposing a feature that rips a disc into MKVs without the user seeing what's inside it would be a nuisance in certain situations and with experience and time most people would learn NOT to use it. I'm not against it but...
