Red 2 MPLS
Does anyone know what the correct MPLS file is for RED 2 US English?

Re: Red 2 MPLS
Playing the disc in VLC shows the time at 1:58:54 (Title 93).
The only MPLS with this time is 558.
Depending on your "minimum title length" preference setting, it may or may not show up as title 93.
EDIT: 558 is not the correct MPLS, even though it is the one that VLC plays.
At the funeral scene, it loops back.

There is no title with a length of 1:58.54 from what I can see.Lovely Rita wrote:Playing the disc in VLC shows the time at 1:58:54 (Title 93).

I do see that MakeMkv skips a lot of titles saying it's the same as another title, for example:
Title 00093.mpls is equal to title 00163.mpls and was skipped
In this case title 163 is only 1:54.03
As for MPLS, there is no 558 on my bluray disc. There is nothing between 549 and 569.
Re: Red 2 MPLS
I played the bluray with a bluray player app and it came up with 19 chapters with total length of 1:54:08. Two mpls files fit that criteria, 001 and 757. I used 001 and it seems fine.

Weird, I don't have 001 or 757 on my disc either.NOYB111 wrote:I played the bluray with a bluray player app and it came up with 19 chapters with total length of 1:54:08. Two mpls files fit that criteria, 001 and 757. I used 001 and it seems fine.

507,504,501,517,502,511,514,513,519,508,503,512,518,516,510 - 1:55:48 00577
After playing it on my player and going through the files one by one.. This appears to be the correct order, time and mpls on my disc
when looking at the M2ts there are Multiple files with the same Time/Size/video...
Examples
00502.m2ts 155,424 00:01:02
00505.m2ts 155,424 00:01:02
00503.m2ts 106,104 00:00:34
00506.m2ts 106,104 00:00:34
00515.m2ts 215.016 00:01:02
00516.m2ts 215.016 00:01:02
00504.m2ts 77,928 00:00:25
00509.m2ts 77,928 00:00:25
and YES you can use either file.
My 0001.mpls was 507,504,509,517,511,505,513,519,508,512,518,515,510 (19 chapters 1:54:08)
We see 504 and 509 play the same scene back to back and totally miss scene 501 in that one thou
Sorry if I'm wrong =)

577 on the rental. Not sure about the retail version. I watched it all the way though and it is correct.

Re: Red 2 MPLS
I have the retail version and I guess the mastering is different.
Ugh. I want to rip this, what is the suggested way to figure out the proper playlist?

Have you read through the other thread that was started on this same disc?madfloyd wrote:I have the retail version and I guess the mastering is different.

It seems the general consensus is that no matter whether it's the Rental or the Retail version the correct time is 1:55:48.
