Hi i bought a makemkv key and now i might have to reinstall my linux setup, so what do i have to do to keep my key after reinstallation?

You still have the email from when you purchased, yes?

Once you re-install your system just copy they key from the email back into the registration box inside MakeMKV.

You should be good to go if you still have that old email. If not, then probably, you can just ask for a new one. Tat's just based on experience for me.

Personally, I always back up the ~/.MakeMKV folder, and restore that after a reinstall. You don't need the entire folder, but only the *.conf files therein. I am just lazy and backup the entire folder.
