Unable to open ISO for Man of Steel 3D trailer

I'd like to remux the Man of Steel 3D trailer, but MakeMKV is unable to open it because it can't identify the key.

I was able to rip it with mkvmerge, but lost the MVC option in the process.

This is an incorrectly mastered disc, but there is a workaround. Extract ISO contents - use winrar on windows or mount iso on linux, then delete AACS directory from extracted folder. MakeMKV will be able to open the resulting BDMV folder.

I mounted it as an ISO in Windows 8 and AnyDVD took care of the rest.

Is there a reason why MakeMKV discourages AnyDVD usage?

This disc is not encrypted.

As for AnyDVD, there were cases when AnyDVD was producing a damaged files, and it took a while to figure out what was going on. To be fair, that was quite a long time ago.
