Odd DVD: plays fine on standalone player, can't be played by VLC on laptop but plays with WMP.
Complex multiplex encountered, seems fine, but always fails when attempting to save selected title to MKV file.

003031:0000 Drive BD-ROM ATAPI iHES112 3 ML02 has RPC protection that can not be bypassed. Change drive region or update drive firmware from http://tdb.rpc1.org. Errors likely to follow.Re: Copy complete, 0 titles saved, 1 failed
Well, ok. It's the correct region, it has worked flawlessly with many other DVDs and MakeMKV so far (thank you).
I'm not sure that there is better/later f/w for that drive (wasn't last time I checked). My other drive (only DVD) is set to Region 1 - it fared no better. Identical error.
I suppose I had hoped that you would spot a crafty new scrambling scheme in use. Playing the DVD with that drive shows typical (to me) scrambling of the signal.
Oh well!
I've rerun the extraction using a region-free, unlocked drive - still seems to fail with the same error using this DVD.
I've made a new testdump file.
