A newbie question, the program does note recognize the drive

Post by albertogi » Wed May 15, 2013 4:52 pm

Hi guys, I just download the software and I have various questions:

- Can I decrypt bluray movies without internet connection?
- I have an acer 5517 with dvd rom. I have an external bluray burner Pioneer BD-RW BDR-TD03 connected and power by usb. The program does not recognized the burner for decryption, only the internal dvd-rom that came with acer. How can I decrypt a bluray? Any help? Thanks!!!

If the operating system can see it as an optical drive, MakeMKV should be able to see it. If you can't open the disk in Windows Explorer, then there is a problem with the setup.
