I just ripped my first movie (Madagascar) with MakeMKV, and everything went fine. But even though I select subs, no subs are ripped. I can choose different subs when I play the mkv file, but now subs are shown. Any suggestions.
I've used v1.4.11 beta.

Hi!
1) What player are you using?
2) Are you sure it can playback subtitles?
3) Does it require you to select subtitles from a dropdown menu (As VLC does)?

Re: Subs not ripped?
I've tested it in both VLC and in my Syvio X9 streamer box. Both gives me the same result. I can choose the set of subtitles that I've chosen, but no subs are shown.
And yes, on the Syvio remote I have a subtitle button where I can choose between the subs that are available. I get a list of the different subs, but when I choose one - it's not shown.

Re: Subs not ripped?
I'm sorry, I've presumed you are referring to a DVD, because as has been posted several times here, presently the subtitles included in Makemkv BluRay rips are not playable.
However, read the post by "Mike admin" about the new method in the offing, in conjunction with MKVMerge...
