How to rip part of a movie.

Hey guys

I just want to know how I can rip just part of a title. Like say just chapter 1 so i can see what it's like before I rip the whole movie. Is there anyway of doing this?

What do you mean by "see what it's like?" MakeMKV does not alter the streams, so what is on the disc is what will be in the file.

Ok that was poor choice of words. Is there is any way I can rip just 1 chapter or a section of the disc using makemkv?

Why don't you just preview the file in your media player of choice?
