I recently had to rip my movies again due to having lost them. I put it off for a year and ripped them again just recently.
However for whatever reason now, some of the movies refuse to play on my Dune TV 101 Media player. It will give me the error message of "Error: format is not supported". I did not have this problem last year. The only thing different now is that I'm running Windows 8 and using the latest version of MakeMKV.
Its only happening on the the Harry Potter Blu-Ray movies that I have. All except for the last Harry Potter movie (The Deathly Hallows plays fine). My Lord Of The Rings blu-ray movies rip and play just fine also.
I'm still not very knowledgeable about ripping, but I one thing I noticed is that Mediainfo displays a different video stream on the movies that don't work.
