Cant find drive still an issue in 1.4.11

i read through the previous posts and it sounded like this could have been fixed in release 4.1.9 but i still get it. mine is lightly different as it doesn't have the part about administrative privileges i've seen with others posts. on startup i get the following in the log file:

Debug log started at Wed Jan 13 02:41:51 2010 , written by MakeMKV v1.4.11 beta win(x64-release)
001014:000000:0000 MakeMKV v1.4.11 beta win(x64-release) started
001013:000000:0000 Debug logging enabled, log will be saved as C:\Users\Server/MakeMKV_log.txt
005042:000000:0000 The program can't find any usable optical drives.

i'm using win7 default drivers

just wondering if a fix was near

you need to run the program as administrator, are you?

i am rdc into the machine if that makes any difference. but double checked and i am logging in as the administrator

windows 7 ultimate - 64bit

if you have UAC enabled, which is default setting, you must right click the makemkv icon and select "run as administrator"

problem solved. thanks so much for your help. i didn't realize i had to run as administrator if i was already logged in as administrator.
