Insufficient information. See link in my signature for turning on debugging and submitting information.

With a higher level of debugging turned on, you might see information flow by about inability to read a sector on the DVD, or problems writing to the drive, etc.

001002:0020 LIBMKV_TRACE: Exception: Error while reading input
The drive is having problems reading sectors from the DVD. Since MakeMKV wants to write an error-free copy (DVD and BD players will accept a lot of errors and work around them), it gives up on that title.

First thing to try is cleaning the disk. I like to use Pledge furniture polish, because it will fill in small scratches to let you rip disks that might LOOK OK, but won't read properly.

The log say: "Opening files on harddrive" and this is correct. I already copy VIDEO_TS directory from DVD to hard drive.

Does it fail if you read directly from the DVD? Your method of copying to the hard drive may have modified the files in a way that can't be decoded.

Yes. This is why I backup it to disk. I copy it on two different PC (Win 7 64bit and WinXP x86) using two different program - the same error.

OK, I'm going to try to do this in a way that won't invoke the "URL filter". Mike will want a more complete debugging file for this, which you can find out how to create and transfer by putting the following after the ".com" in the forum URL:

/onlinehelp/testdump.html

It will result in a rather large file.

Yes, please submit a test dump per instructions at /onlinehelp/testdump.html

p.s. posting URLs as is, without[URL] tag, will not trigger post approval as long as url starts with "http://www.makemkv.com"
