played disk in aurora. says it was playing file 1 with length of 1:42:16. Matches up to 31.mpls. Trying decode now. Appreciate feedback from others if this works or not.

814 is the correct playlist.

31 is not good, that's the one I had tried.f1fan wrote:played disk in aurora. says it was playing file 1 with length of 1:42:16. Matches up to 31.mpls. Trying decode now. Appreciate feedback from others if this works or not.

Re: Alex Cross MPLS file
A competitor's program (which is used only for ripping, and lacks mkv muxing), is able to tell which is the correct playlist on this type of disc. Out of respect, I will not name the program.
Re: Alex Cross MPLS file
The other program (which I also use for this purpose) does this very well. If you're going to use this method then you may find that sometimes the playlist it identifies won't be visible in MakeMKV because MakeMKV has already marked it as a duplicate of another playlist.robpdotcom wrote:A competitor's program (which is used only for ripping, and lacks mkv muxing), is able to tell which is the correct playlist on this type of disc. So, for example, program A identifies playlist 123.
MakeMKV doesn't list any titles corresponding to playlist 123, but its diagnostic messages may say that playlist 123 was a duplicate of playlist 85 and has therefore been skipped. So in MakeMKV you'll pick the title corresponding to playlist 85.
