Backup - Program (mis)behavior

#1 Post by setarip_old » Wed Jan 13, 2010 1:20 am

@Mike Chen

Although v.4.11 in "Backup" mode properly copies a full still encrypted BluRay disc to hard drive, at some point (I had the program minimized)the MakeMKV window is reduced in size by about 50%.

Additionally, there is no notifaction whatsoever that the backup has been completed.

Please advise.

This is why "backup" functionality is not yet mentioned anywhere - it works but but is not yet ready to be announced.

@Mike Chen

I've sent you a P.M. - Please ignore it, as the following resolves the mystery ;>}

**EDIT** But the following explanation of the "Backup" function appears when you click on "Backup":

MakeMKV can backup your disc to a directory on a hard drive. This operation will not decrypt or change any data, it will merely copy all files and disc metadata from disc to a specified directory. Produced backup may be later opened by MakeMKV.
