Punisher Warzone Fails

Post by dvdflashbacks » Wed Jan 16, 2013 5:15 pm

I have tried unsuccessfully to extract two different BRs. Punisher: War Zone and Universal Soldier.
No matter what I do I receive a Fail message.

Here is my log file info:

Dirty, damaged or poorly pressed disc. Swap it for a new one.

Don't post any assumptions without physical access to the BDs and the drive which the TO uses.

I have made similar experiences with MakeMKV reporting SCSI errors on some BDs which I ripped. They were perfectly clean. They also played back fine in my BD player. Beside this I could copy the whole BD as ISO (with encrypted files of course) to my PC without errors and the DVDFab Stuff just ripped the BD fine.

@dvdflashbacks: You could try the following things:
1) Try to rip the BDs with either DVDFabs BD Ripper or AnyDVD HD. They both have trial versions which enable you to do so without paying money.
2) Try to copy all files from the BD to your HDD or simply create an ISO from it. If there are any I/O errors caused by defect media / drive, they should also show up during this process.

The results of both things described above interest me as well since I currently still have some issues with MakeMKV.
