Beta issue

Ok, from what I'm reading on the front page, this product is still in beta.
Blu-ray is supposed to be free while in beta.
Recently, the program has stopped allowing me to rip blu-rays. It had made the "30 days" noises before, and then didn't care when I went past that date. It would reset the clock when I installed a new version. Also, it never gave me the "30 days" pop-up until the first time I tried to rip a BR after a new version install.

Did something happen? Has the program gone out of beta and the front page just hasn't been updated yet? What's going on?
