Newbie can get things to work; plz help

Hey all,

I can't seem to get makemkv to successfully read my blu-rays. I am using beta version 1.4.9.

Hardware:

Core2Duo 2.16ghz imac 10.6.1 4GB RAM
LG model HL-DT-ST BD-RE WH08LS20
-sata Blu-ray burner 8x DVD burner 16x
OWC Sata to USB2 external drive case
internal Matshita DVD-R superdrive

I have used safari to download the "allcombo.svq" file to a directory labeled MakeMKV on user/sunny/documents/MakeMKVds using the save file to command.

I can't seem to get to dump into a .txt file despite checking the text box in the preference menu.

Attached is a screen capture of the program window. Any help would be appreciated

you need to save SVQ file as binary file, in firefox you can use "save link as" menu, safari should have similar command.

I am having this same issue with a BD-ROM drive. I have the SQV. Can anyone make any suggestions?
