Question: How to identify title # in selection list?

Post by Marc_G » Sat Aug 18, 2012 9:54 pm

Hi folks,

I've been wondering this a while but with Hunger Games and the long title list, I figured it was time to find an answer or put in a feature request if there isn't a good answer.

Simply put, when I'm choosing which titles to select, how do I figure out WHICH title is which?

During decryption and scanning, we get a conversion table that ties the mpls to the title number:
Title mpls list.jpg
Title mpls list.jpg (71.77 KiB) Viewed 11461 times
But when it comes time to select or deselect titles, the title numbers are absent, at least for me:

So, is there some way to find out which "Title" of which there are many, corresponds to which mpls, short of counting manually? IT would seem reasonable to be able to display "Title 5" or some such rather than just "Title" with no number. And maybe there is a way and I'm ignorant. If there are half a dozen titles, I can figure it out, but when there are more than fit on screen, and I need to scroll, there's no way I will do it faithfully, particularly factoring in the need to skip titles not present due to being duplicates or too short or whatever.

Can someone clue me in, because I'm probably missing something simple.
Thanks!

Marc

With the playlist obfuscation becoming more used, this may be an important thing to do.

Oh. OK. I'm dumb as dirt. There's a whole info window I was missing some how. Selective blindness, I guess.

[feature request]
Is it possible to print a language code behind each of the segments that are part of the segment map posted above?
This could be very helpful to identify the "correct" title.

Bye

Starting a new thread for a different topic is better than thread-jacking.

Still not too sure which one of the titles to choose.
On your attachment you show more than one with 16 chapters, so how does one know which title to choose still?

Also, what are the differences between these titles that all appear to be the same?

Thanks

Okay, seen the error of my post.
Off checking AVS to see which one to use, so far none have matched :(
