Trouble upgrading version.

I searched and cant find the answer. I paid for the license and am having trouble updating to the latest version. There is a link to click when I open MakeMKV, but when I download, even tried restarting the PC, I still have the same version. Whats the proper sequence? Do I uninstall the old first each time an update comes, or am I not clicking on the proper download choice (there are more than one on the link given)

Did you run the installer after you downloaded it? The download process itself does NOT install the program; it just copies the file to your system so that you can install it.

You should be prompted for the language to install, then it will overwrite the old version with the new, leaving your key in place.

Just make sure you've exited MakeMKV before doing the install, or it will not be able to copy files into place. Some of the old versions would fail to completely shut down on exit...
