MakeMKV v1.7.7 win(x86-release) started
Using direct disc access mode
IFO file for VTS #20 is corrupt, VOB file must be scanned. This may take very long time, please be patient.
Title #1 has length of 1 seconds which is less than minimum title length of 120 seconds and was therefore skipped

Title 3 in VTS 17 is equal to title 1 and was skipped
Title 4 in VTS 17 is equal to title 1 and was skipped
Title 5 in VTS 17 is equal to title 1 and was skipped
Operation successfully completed

Then it pauses, then brings up a dialogue box "MakeMKV BETA popup"
Fatal error occurred, program will now exit.

Click on OK and MakeMKV disappears, but curiously it leaves behind makemkv.exe process and makemkvcon.exe. The former is taking up 50% CPU usage and slowly consuming Mem usage. have watched it increase from around 50MB to (currently) 150MB.

Have killed both but could do with some further help!

UPDATE:

So I thought I'd start creating log files. Turned on the setting, closed MakeMKV, restarted it and ran it through.

Went through without crashing!

Turned log files off, repeat ... works absolutely fine! (I'd previously tried it 3 times including a reboot)

The only thing that changed was removing and reinserting the disc.

Odd - but solved :)

Hi!

You may have solved your problem by having unwittingly dislodged a dust bunny or some crud from the lens of your reader/burner ;>}
