So, what happened to makemkv.com over the past few days?

Who is this idiot Ada078 spamming our forum with "corset" crap, and can we delete all the spam, please?

To report a spammer, click on the exclamation mark in the lower right corner of the post. Don't bother indicating that you want a follow up, as you won't get one. Mike will deal with it when he is online the next time.

Glad the site is back also! Seems every forum post out there, about MakeMKV, thought the world was coming to an end!

Thanks, Mike. VERY glad it's nothing more than a hosting issue. While annoying, at least nothing bad happened to you or MakeMKV. People, myself very much included, were understandably concerned for your well being.

Glad the the site is back up and running. I had Googled the issue and seems that a lot people on various forums such as Slysoft were concerned for various reasons.

Right now, there seems to be a problem with the cool-dns.com DNS servers... This site is up, but I could only reach it by plugging the IP into my hosts file...

It would be nice to have some way of contacting Mike should the domain makemkv.com vanish again. Is there a gmail address, or something?

There is a published contact address for the domain on Yandex.ru, but I won't post it here (don't want it to be flooded with spam, after all!

).

The outage for DNS may have just been my portion of the virtual world; I eventually found a DNS server that could resolve the address.
