The Hunger Games BD, which chapters to choose
The Hunger Games BD, which chapters to choose
I just bought The Hunger Games Blu-ray. Does anyone know which chapters to choose when using MakeMKV? The disc has a whole bunch of titles, making it very hard to choose the correct chapters. Thank you.
Re: The Hunger Games BD, which chapters to choose
I'd like to know as well.
Re: The Hunger Games BD, which chapters to choose
I've been waiting for someone to post about this! There is a whole mess of different titles with slightly different lengths on this blu ray. Has anyone figured out which one is correct yet? Thanks!

I think that it's 00076.mpls. I just got an error with 3 minutes left though. Going to try again.
Re: The Hunger Games BD, which chapters to choose
I read somewhere they they are recommending using 00665.mpls but there are several clones that might work. I am trying 00665.mpls first

I saw that too, but I didn't have a 00665.mpls.Pajoe wrote:I read somewhere they they are recommending using 00665.mpls but there are several clones that might work. I am trying 00665.mpls first
Re: The Hunger Games BD, which chapters to choose
I found another post that says 76, 108, 447, 462, 565, 665, 832, 843, 876, 971 maybe one of those will work for you.
Re: The Hunger Games BD, which chapters to choose
There are something like 60 playlists. I've been told you have a 1 in 6 chance of getting the right one. I'm watching it as we speak.
Re: The Hunger Games BD, which chapters to choose
This seems like what they did with Breaking Dawn. Very annoying. And... when we are presented with the list of "Title" options all we see is "Title" without a title number, just the number of chapters and the size. Is there some way to identify in that long list which title # and MPLS # it is? We get the MPLS/Title conversion number during the decryption / title ID phase, but then we are just shown generic title numbers at the stage where we pick which to rip. How annoying.

Anyone know why there is no lossless sound track? I only get DD.
Re: The Hunger Games BD, which chapters to choose
Check the bottom right of MakeMKV's main window. It features the MPLS number for each title.

Yeah, it pretty much doesn't matter which playlist it is if they all show DD only. I get the same thing.dptbones wrote:Anyone know why there is no lossless sound track? I only get DD.

Not all editions of the movie come with the lossless track. They did the same thing with the RED blu-ray release.

Yep, it looks like the rental version is DD only. I didn't realize anyone did that. Lame.
Looks like 00017.mpls is the correct playlist for at least the rental (Neflix).

Re: The Hunger Games BD, which chapters to choose
It's probably the single disc edition that is DD only, and the combo packs have the full lossless audio.
