I once managed to rip this BD without issue using a much earlier version of MakeMKV. I have a 720p iTunes-compatible output file from April 2011, so that's about the time that I would have ripped the MKV.
I have found recently that if a disc contains an LPCM track as the first track and it is selected, MakeMKV will grind for a long time, then give up. If the LPCM track is unselected, it operates like a normal disc.
I also have not had trouble in ripping the LPCM track as long as it was not the first track in the series.
I cannot rip this disc using 1.7.6. It has two LPCM tracks and no others. I tried deselecting all audio in order to just get the video but it sped through about 760MB and then decided that it had finished the job.
If I could get an earlier version of MakeMKV, I'd be happy with that. I just have this one troublesome disc.
