MakeMKV just hangs for me

Hi there,

when I start up MakeMKV (with/without admin privileges/no medium inside my drives), I just get this screen. I can only terminate it (CTRL-B).

I have installed two optival drives:
R:\ PLEXTOR DVD-ROM PX-130A ATA Device
S:\ PIONEER BD-RW BDR-202

They're working without any problems using Windows 7 Pro x64 with 8 GB RAM.

Any help is much appreciated.

Apparently there is a problem with PLEXTOR drive. Just to check, can you try disabling the drive in device manager and see if MakeMKV will still hang?

Thank you, Mike... this workaround really works!

If I disable the Plextor drive, I can start MakeMKV successfully.
