I can't take it anymore!
Perhaps when a version of MakeMKV has expired, the window telling the user that it has expired could point them to this link.

I did, as my sig indicates.
However that has nothing to do with a new post every day with people wondering why MakeMKV is too old and how to fix it.

Really? Cause as a registered user I don't get those messages.
(And if you're referring to messages on the forum, NOTHING will stop that from happening. Trust me.)

What do you know? I don't see those messages since I registered either.
Yes, I am referring to the messages on the forum. If there was a link to either the Buy It page, or the beta key page, it might save some time for people that can't use the search function on the forum.

I completely understand and appreciate where you're going with that, but, it really wouldn't stop the messages. I mean, people can't even take the time to read the _3_ other posts about it when they make a new one, so, even if you popped out of their screen and clicked on the link for them, they'd still post about it.Smithcraft wrote:What do you know? I would guess that would be the way it would be, but fer crying out loud, give em two links - Buy it, and beta key. If they still post, well maybe they can learn to search...

Fair enough. It certainly can't HURT.
Re: [Feature Request] Direct to thread when beta expires
What we need is a feature to stop new users from posting until they've read the beta announcement!

I think they do something similar at the Handbrake forums. I think the first five posts require mod approval. That would also help with killing the spam here.
