#1 Post by Sandriell » Wed Jun 06, 2012 6:18 am

As the subject says, non-forced subs are not being removed from the output file.

Why should non-forced subs be removed? Forced subs are removed when it turns out that the stream is empty. Which appears to be what happened with your rip. IDs 3 and 5 are the regular subtitle tracks and the corresponding forced streams where removed so you end up with two regular sub streams.

Then I guess I misunderstood how the "Forced Only" checkbox is supposed to work. I thought if the subs turned out to not be Forced, they were not included at all.

You can check the 'Forced' box without the corresponding (underlying) subtitle stream so you'll only get the forced track if it isn't empty, if that's what you're trying to achieve.

Ah, so I don't need to select the parent checkbox, just pick "Forced Only".

Thanks.
